Conference Minister, Dr. Wade Schemmel

Dr. Wade Schemmel assumed the office of Conference Minister for the Northern Plains Conference on January 1 of 2002. Dr. Schemmel is a native of Wisconsin. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music education from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, County Wisconsin, his Master of Divinity Degree from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, and his Doctorate from McCormick Seminary in Chicago. Dr. Schemmel began his ministry in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has served churches in Springfield, South Dakota; Prescott, Wisconsin; New Bremen, Ohio; and St. Paul, Minnesota. Dr. Schemmel?s ministry has drawn him into the areas of government, affordable housing, radio and television broadcasting and production as well as a wide variety of community and group work. Dr. Schemmel has moved to Bismarck along with his wife (Margaret – Peg). They have two grown sons. Rev Schemmel’s email is schemmel@npcucc.org

Peg Schemmel, Administrator for the Conference.                                                               Peg oversees all administrative tasks required to conduct a business office for the conference.  She is also the Coordinator for the Pulpit Supply assignments for the churches and pastors of the Conference.

Rev. Dr. Jack J. Seville, Jr., Conference Minister Emeritus
Rev. Dr. Jack J. Seville was the previous Conference Minister and is currently a very active member of the greater church body.  He and Fanny have moved to the Retirement Villege in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee.

Lindy Holt, Adjunct for Disaster Response
Lindy is the Adjunct for Disaster Response. If need arises as it has in New Orleans, and other areas of the Contry and world.  Lindy is our coordinator and often our first person with boots on the ground helping the needy.

Carleton Borden and Darcy Borden, Adjunct for Youth Ministries
Carleton and Darcy are the Adjunct for Youth Ministries. Matters related to planning and coordinating youth activities are handled by Carleton or Darcy.
